Whorls of a Flower:

  • Flowers have four primary whorls:
a)  Calyx: The outermost whorl, composed of sepals.

b)  Corolla: The second whorl, consisting of petals.

c)  Androecium: The third whorl, containing stamens.

d)  Gynoecium: The innermost whorl, comprising carpels or pistils.
